Christian Dior Diorshow Iconic Overcurl mascara review

Hello,

how are you? This is a review of Diorshow Iconic Overcurl. I will tell you one thing - this mascara is just great. A real classic. In the past I had an original Diorshow but I prefer the Overcurl more. The difference between those two is the brush. Overcurl has a curved brush that will give you a great curl. 

Diorshow Iconic Overcurl

Pros:

• intensive deep black color 
• mascara won't fade
• no clumping
• no smudging
• you will have really long lashes
• your lashes will be curly 
• mascara will give you a great volume
• you will be able to create a false lash look
• simple yet elegant packaging
• easy application
• applied in the morning mascara still looks good late in the evening

Christian Dior Iconic mascara

Cons:

• difficult to remove
• pricey

The manufacturer says that this mascara will nourish and strengthen your lashes as well. I am not so sure about that, actually I don't think so:). I would rather recommend using castor oil for this purpose.
If you are a fan of a false lash look go for it, go...:).

review Lumene Raspberry Miracle Mascara with special fibres

Hello,how are you? Today I would like to review for you a Lumene Raspberry Miracle Mascara with special fibres in a black colour. The mascara is made here in Finland:). 

Lumene Raspberry Miracle Mascara 

It contains oil of Arctic raspberry which has nourishing and revitalizing properties. I am sure that this mascara DOES nourish the eyelashes.
Lately, to my horror, I have noticed that my eyelashes started falling out and became thinner. I have always had beautiful eyelashes so it was something I would not expect. Anyway, I have decided to ditch my favourite Dior Iconic mascara (because it is rather difficult to remove and during removing process I would always loose a few eyelashes) , the eyelash curler and instead I started using Lumene Raspberry Miracle Mascara (I wanted to check if the raspberry oil really works) and castor oil every evening. Now, after about two weeks I can already see a big difference:). So, yes, this mascara and obviously castor oil have saved my eyelashes.

Lumene Raspberry Miracle Mascara contains also extra long synthetic fibers which suppose to create an effect of long and thick lashes. Because of that this product will be suitable especially for those of you who like extension fibers in mascaras. I remember that many years ago Manhattan had a fantastic mascara with this kind of fibers. Unfortunately they have changed the formula and the new version is rather bad. Have you noticed that it is a common practice among the companies that they stop producing good cosmetics or they change good formulas for bad ones? 

Lumene raspberry miracle mascara with visible extension fibers 

Let's go back to the product's description:

Lumene Raspberry Miracle mascara pros:

• long fibers attach to the lashes and create a nice effect of:
• thicker lashes
• longer lashed
• curled lashes
• effect stays all day long
• no need to use an eye curler
• the product doesn't smudge
• it doesn't flake off
• mascara does not contain parabens, alcohol and fragrance
• suitable for allergic

Cons:

• hard to remove (but I don't loose any eyelashes during makeup removal)
• no revitalizing or nourishing effect on eye lashes (despite raspberry booster complex)

This mascara will be suitable for everyday's makeup. It will define your lashes in a natural way. But it will not create a dramatic effect, you won't be able to achieve a false lash effect. Would I recommend it? Yes, for everyone who likes more natural looking makeup:).

this is a review of Helena Rubinstein Lash Queen Sexy Blacks mascara. This and the Diorshow Iconic Overcurl mascara are my favourites. They are expensive but I am sure they are worth the price. They will give you the eyelashes you have always dreamt of:).

 Helena Rubisntein Lash Queen Sexy Blacks mascara

Let's describe  first Helena Rubinstein Lash Queen Sexy Blacks mascara. The packaging is just gorgeous. It is a golden tube adorned with a black lace. It looks like a corset. Very luxurious.  The packaging is worth keeping even when it's empty. It will be a nice decoration on your shelf or in your cosmetic bag. But not only the packaging is perfect. The mascara itself is just great. It does everything what a great mascara should do.

Pros:

• adds volume
• adds length
• doesn't clump
• has a nice black colour
• silky texture
• stays on all day
• it will curl your lashes
• doesn't smudge
• it will not flake

Cons:

• price

It seriously is almost a perfect mascara but it is pricey. On the other side you need to pay for the good quality. And you can always ask Santa Clause to bring it for you but only if you have been a nice girl:).

Maybelline The Colossal Go Extreme Mascara review

this is a review of a new mascara from Maybelline - The Colossal Go Extreme:). In general I like Maybelline mascaras a lot. I normally buy original Colossal mascaras but this time I wanted to try something new.

Maybelline Colossal Go Extreme Volume

Maybelline Go Extreme, you can see a big brush

• Pros:
• adds some length,
• adds volume
• applies evenly,
• separates the lashes,
• doesn't smudge,
• easy to remove (I just use plain water which removes about 80% of mascara and then I finish with a bit of micellar water).

Cons:

• looks effective only if you apply two coats. You will have to wait that the first coast dries and then apply the second coat. I don't remember that I would have to do this with other mascaras,
• the brush is really big and for me it is difficult to reach the lashes next to the inner corner of the eye,
• it may flake and give you a panda eyes effect. It happened to me on the foggy, humid day. I applied mascara in the morning and after about 40 minutes walk to the school I had small flakes under my eyes.

two coats of  Maybelline The Colossal Go Extreme Mascara

Overall, I would say this is just an average mascara and I would rather recommend you the original version of Maybelline Colossal or Maybelline the Falsies one.

L`Oreal, Lash Architect 4D, Curl & Lengthen Mascara

I remember when I first bought L`Oreal, Lash Architect 3D many years ago and I was amazed how it worked. I had really beautiful looking lashes, curly, long, thick. During years I have tried many different mascaras ( I like to experiment with my lashes) but when I noticed it was in promotion I decided to buy this  Architect's 3 D "younger sister"- Architect 4D. Especially that it promises to give a falsh
 lash effect.

At the beginning I was quite happy, it did elongate my lashes, it did make them looking thicker. Anyway, it wasn't as good as its older version. No  'false lash effect' whatsoever. It did clump.
After about three weeks mascara started drying up and flaking. I couldn't use it anymore:(.  I have checked from the internet that some I don't even have the box anymore but here I am presenting the picture from the manufacturer's site:

L'Oreal Miss Manga mascara, lengthening volumizing mascara, manga look

Hello,
The manufacturer promises big bold upper and lower lashes thanks to a special cone-shaped 360 ° Flexor brush. The brush is flexible (in the picture you can see the wand which can bend). Cone-shaped ending helps to emphasize the lower lashes. It will give you wide-eye manga look. However achieving this spectacular effect requires a little extra work and time which I normally don't have in the mornings.

At the beginning mascara was too wet and I was a bit disappointed. However after a few weeks  the consistency has improved and now mascara is doing its job pretty good. Lashes are thickened, elongated and  flexible to the touch. This flexibility is something I like about miss manga the most. Important that mascara does not smudge and remains intact for many hours. It doesn't cause irritation and  washes away easily with oil or eye makeup remover.
I recommend it.
